Rehabilitation
We provide services both for service users requiring intensive
post-acute rehabilitation who are expected to re-integrate into the community
within six months, and also for more seriously injured service users who require longer-term
rehabilitation.
Services are tailored to meet individual needs. Our philosophy is that all people with a brain injury have
the potential to progress, no matter how severe their injury
or how long ago it ocurred.
We aim to promote the independence and self-esteem
of our service users within the framework of the neurobehavioural
model. Individual rehabilitation programmes focus on structured
learning programmes, personal and domestic activities of daily
living, use of leisure time, community access skills, behavioural
management techniques, social skills training and vocational
training and support.

Accommodation
Fen House offers high quality, modern accommodation, backed up
by expert clinical supervision from experienced, skilled professionals. Each
service user has an individual programme designed to meet his or her own particular
needs.
Fen House offers 25 rooms including one independent
living flat, all with en-suite facilities. We operate a 10-bed
integration unit for shorter-term service users where assessment
and intensive cognitive behavioural rehabilitation are undertaken.
We also offer a 15-bed long-term rehabilitation facility for
those who require longer to regain lost skills and recover
their independence.
We have well-equipped therapy and training facilities,
together with spacious communcal areas, a courtyard and landscaped
