Outstanding satisfaction survey results

1 May 2008

BIRT is delighted to announce that its satisfaction rates for services provided in 2008 have increased again, demonstrating an encouraging year on year improvement in stakeholder approval.

The overall results across all BIRT services, incorporating views of service users, families and funders/referrers are outstanding:

  • 90% of service users were happy or more than happy with our services.

  • 99% of families were satisfied or more than satisfied with our services.

  • 99% of purchasers and referrers were satisfied or more than satisfied with our services.

  • All service users, their families and referrers/purchasers are asked (at least annually or on discharge) to rate all aspects of the service including, for example, service user involvement, effectiveness of rehabilitation, admission and discharge process, environment, food, family support, courtesy of staff, social and leisure activities.

Lynn Turley, Service Director BIRT, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who responded to the survey. The results clearly reflect our ongoing commitment to improving quality through direct input from all our stakeholders.”
