The Disabilities Trust offers housing
and support services to around 150 people with profound disabilities
including:
Each person’s needs are individually
assessed to make sure our services can be designed to meet
their needs.
We recognise the right of every service user
to be treated with respect at all times, and to be able to
make choices in their daily lives.
A major
survey of people using our residential services has
begun, to discover what kinds of service they want and how
they, their families and sponsoring authorities, want them
delivered.
This is our most comprehensive ever survey
of user’s wishes and will help us plan the future direction
of The Disabilities Trust’s services for people with
physical disabilities.
