Redford Court Lodge, Liverpool

Redford Court Lodge is a centre for the continuing rehabilitation of five people with acquired brain injury and/or additional complex health needs. The service is run by the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT).

It is situated just across the cul-de sac from BIRT's existing service at Redford Court.

This service has the advantages of the existing Redford Court service (including ongoing clinical support, transport links and location) but with the smaller ambience of a house in the community.

Staff team

Redford Court Lodge benefits from high numbers of staff who follow the ongoing neuro-behavioural rehabilitation for this service user group.

A staff team has been recruited and trained, and the on going supervision of staff and management of the scheme will be performed by the existing experienced management team at Redford Court.

The development of this scheme to accommodate a further five service users in Liverpool has enabled the Trust to extend its continuum of high quality provision in the area.
